Frankie nodded in slow understanding. She knew his pain perfectly. For in truth, their sorrows weren't all too different. However, she couldn't say anything. What was there to say? Sometimes it is just best to remain silent, and that is what Frankie did. More memories of her family, and of everything they had done for her, flooded her thoughts, and her eyes misted over as she lapped up these images, so frail and weak next to the real thing. With a gusty sigh, she let the memory fade away and glanced at Aurum. Allowing herself a tiny yawn of tiredness, she wondered if she should say something. She could think of nothing, and so she slowly continued to chew on the bone. However, she derived no more pleasure from doing so, and eventually just settled her head on her paws. "Aurum." Frankie whispered slowly, unsure of herself. "I - I'm sorry. For your loss. I truly am."
